Rapid River Boat Launch is a paved launch with a dock. The freshly dredged channels help make it better for watercraft movement. There is a large sand parking lot and a public restroom. Turn off US-2 at the brick house bike shop and continue down the road until you come to boat launch. It offers shallow water with a channel for boats to get into Lake Michigan and there are nice deep fishing holes available.
