Escanaba Municipal Beach

Escanaba Municipal Beach is located on its own little island with many amenities nearby!

Gladstone Beach

Another popular beach with many nearby activities and plenty of room for everyone! 

Features:

  • Concession Stand.
  • Near Downtown.

Indian Point Beach 

This beach is a great spot if you enjoy having an area completely to yourself. 

Features:

  • Secluded beach.
  • No shower & changing facilities. 
  • 10-minutes from Nahma.  
  • Beach is dependent on the water-level.

Directions: When driving into Nahma on Ee 25, keep your eyes on the right-hand side for a turn-off that dips down a hill to a gravel parking area. 

Portage Point Beach

This expansive beach is a hidden treasure—just a short 10-minute walk to this shoreline. 

Features: 

  • No shower & changing facilities. 
  • Piers.
  • Walking Path. 
  • 10-minute walk. 
  • Expansive Beach. 
  • 5-minutes from Escanaba. 
  • Protected Marsh Nearby. 

Directions: Drive south away from Escanaba on 35, then make a left on Portage Point 11.4 Lane. Follow this road until it dead ends, then park in the parking lot.

Sac Bay Park Beach

For your own private beach experience, visit the Garden Peninsula for this gem.

Features:

  • No shower & changing facilities. 
  • Small park.
  • Picnic tables nearby.
  • 15-minutes from Fayette Historic State Park.
