Golf Courses

Delta County offers Michigan’s Upper Peninsula’s only golf trail, where golf and Mother Nature all share the same  landscape. Scenic and serene, quality and quantity, affordable and alluring, challenging and exciting all describe golfing in Delta County. Four of the area’s nine courses rank amongst the top 15 in the entire Upper Peninsula, making Delta County a golf destination.

Whether you’re playing a course on a bluff looking over Little Bay de Noc, one cut from a forest that follows the gentle curves of a river, or one of two historic courses founded in the early 1900’s, with 135 holes of golf in close proximity to each other, it is easy to play two or three different courses in one day. Typically you are able to get same day tee times with a simple morning call to any course, and the price can’t be beat. The links after Labor Day are colored in rich shades of nature’s autumn colors that have to be seen to be believed. Fall golf is a great addition to a fall color tour or weekend get away. The drive to each course is part of the experience as the changing leaves follow the winding roads, then play on greens enveloped in rich russets, reds, golds, and ambers. After you finish your round of golf, settle back for some good food and cold beverages all served up with the warmth and hospitality our county is known for. Whether you play one of the two courses on the Bays de Noc Coastal Golf Trail or any other course in Delta County, you will find them to be scenic, challenging and a bargain.
